You have NO idea of how long I have looked for someone who makes A-line jumpers and john-johns! Twenty + years ago, when I lived in Milwaukee, WI, I discovered a speciality children's store that carried excellent manufactured clothing. What kept me going back to the store was a hand-made A-line jumper and identical john-john. That one-design became my trademark new baby gift for special friends. The seamstress stopped making them and, in the years since, I have not only looked, but I have also provided descriptions of the design in the hopes of encouraging someone to make it. Because of the jumper and john-johns design, the children were able to wear the item longer than any other clothing they had at those young ages. Not only that, but as you and your customers have pointed-out, the jumpers and john-johns are show-stoppers! The first baby girl to receive the jumper from me, graduated from college last year! She started wearing the jumper around her first birthday and wore it until she was almost age three. She still has the jumper and tells me that she hopes to be blessed with a daughter someday so that she can wear the jumper, too! I found your site after hours on the Internet searching for brother/sister outfits. A dear friend has a daughter soon to be 3-years-old and is pregnant with a son due in early August. I purchased her daughter's first Christmas dress and knew that I needed to start looking for the first brother/sister Christmas. Well, I will look no more! Thank you for Courtney's Closet! I purchased the snowman jumper and bow for my granddaughter at the craft show in Gainesville, Georgia. It is adorable and she has worn it many times. Our favorite holiday picture is the one of Elizabeth wearing this jumper!! Thanks!! I will be buying many more jumpers soon!! You are so right--they are good for girls no matter where they are and can be for any type of weather!!
